The cooperation between my host country, Netherlands, and my favorite city, Iasi, is closer than I imagined. On 18th April will be the official launch of the program Iasi 600 that intends to celebrate 600 years since the first documentation of the city Iasi. You can find the announcement on Iasi's City Hall website. Starting with 20.30 on April 18 people from Iasi can attend a light show organized by the Dutch company in front of the Palace of Culture.
In the same day the local authorities will present the statue of Alexandru Lăpuşneanu, the Moldavian Prince that transformed Iasi in the capital city of Moldova.
The entire Iasi 600 calendar of events can be found also on City Hall's website.
